Concierge Entrepreneur 101

Description: In this short course, Katharine talks about how to set up a concierge and/or lifestyle management company. The topics include financial and legal information, creating your website, how to obtain business liability insurance, start up costs, how to set your fees, and setting up your service vendor network. Katharine also talks about concierge industry niche’s and what it really takes to be a success.
Once you register for the course, it will take 24-48 hours to process your application. You will then be invited to join the class via email. This email will contain all the login instructions you need to take the class.

The Concierge Entrepreneur 201

Length: approximately 40 – 50 sessions, about 12 hours
Description: This certificate course is designed to teach you everything you need to know to start a successful concierge business. Katharine provides clear step-by-step information and will walk you through the process of starting up your business. Some of the topics include…Setting up your business including your business plan, brochures, websites, business cards, financial and legal information , insurance, start up costs and more. You’ll also learn about how to set your fees including how to set your hourly rate, set up your packages and for those of you going into the corporate world, you’ll learn a great math formula that will help you figure out your monthly service rate.
What services should you provide? Katharine will go over at least 52 of them, and the logistics behind doing it. She’ll go over all aspects of targeting the corporate world including business proposal and logistics. Plus you’ll learn all about open a lobby concierge business. What are the logistics of actually running this business? Then she moves onto service vendors and how to set up your business referral network. You’ll learn how to set up your service vendors, where to find them, how to interview them and how to get them to pay you a commission. You’ll also learn about how to set up your staff, how to write a business proposal, and how to sell and market your new business. Katharine also gives you a hands-on social media demonstration showing you the major sites you need to be a part of! From A to Z, Katharine talks about it all. You’ll look like a deer in headlights by the end there is so much information.
