Ron and I are getting dozens of emails from people wanting information on the state of the Concierge Industry and Statistics. Actually the reason it is so hard to find is because there is no information out there to find. The industry is only about 20 years old and very little information is out there.
I have been in the field since 1998 and when I started there were, perhaps, 50 or so concierge around the U.S. Today, I suspect there are thousands. I have nothing to base these numbers on except my experience in the field. Triangle Concierge, is a concierge consulting company and we have thousands of clients from over 40 countries and every US state. We started the business in 1998 so you can see the phenomenal growth. It’s an industry that is seriously taking off like the proverbial brush fire.
Today, you can find concierge everywhere ... in hospitals, malls, corporations, apartment buildings, office buildings, airports, colleges, associations, churches and on and on and on. You could sum up the state of the industry in two words ... extraordinary growth.
